This Friday we have looked at our past and we have recalled a very important chapter in the history of our town: the work of plastic, a craft that during the early years of the second half of the twentieth century created a small industry that gave work to many people of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell.
Local people who were involved in the work of plastics in those times, have given us their time to provide information, anecdotes, photographs and work material in this first participatory meeting.
The intention now is to compile all this oral memory in an audiovisual, as well as to create a documentary fund so that future generations can know part of their roots.
