At the highest point of the town center stands this temple, the local parish church. It was built between 1710–1774 and, until the mid-20th century, underwent several renovations. It is dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene.

The building began on the site of an earlier hermitage. In its first layout, the complex was arranged with three chapels on each side and, on the central axis, the main altar dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene, together with Saint Roch and Saint Christopher.

The most significant renovation came in 1911, when the dome took on its current blue-and-white tile mosaic. During that intervention, the communion chapel, the presbytery steps, and the trasagrario gallery were built, while the church was also paved and ornamented.

Later, in 1921, the bell tower was raised. In 1953, work was carried out on the facade, and in 1961 the clock was installed. These interventions consolidated the historic image that defines the complex today.

Broadly speaking, the interior follows a sober Baroque style with Neoclassical features, while the exterior includes Neo-Gothic echoes, such as the bell tower arch. The main entrance, balanced and simple, reinforces its historic character. It features a niche dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene.
