Roqueta oven, the beginning of Trinquet street. Here we are in one of the places where one of the royalties that Luis Francisco, Duke of Medinaceli and lord of the town gave to the neighbors of El Poblenou de Manitachell, the roqueta oven.
Years later, according to Bogoiz mentality, the Mandos Law 1855 was established, which was referred to the expropriation in order to collect money to pay off the public debt. This is how Vincente Llobel Parésder bought the Puig Ciorença mountain on June 8th, 1869.
The same year, Vincente Marqués Catalá bought the inn house located in Major Street, and Pasqual Pastor Catalá bought the oven. In 1822, the mountain board and the roqueta oven was formed among 22 owners, which formalized the basis for the administration and conservation of the property. The oven became one of the most important sources for the board. The board was in charge of the administration until in some moment where we did not have exact dates, it was given to the town hall in right of usufruct.
