Church Viewpoint. From one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the whole region, we begin a historical journey through El Poble Nou de Benitatxell. In front of us, we can find the fantastic bay of Javea, where we can highlight the Cape of Saint Antonio and the Mongol.

From here, we can appreciate an agricultural landscape, based on the terracing, in which vineyard, the almond, and the olive tree stand out. The Moscatel wine, famous in El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, has as one of its most ambitious projects, the bio Moscatel, with the organic production of Moscatel grapes.

Other regional icons in La Marina Alta are the Riu Raus, buildings related to the production of sultanas, where the sultana canes are kept and left to dry. The panoramic view of the bay favored the defense and the surveillance of the fields of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell against the smugglers who used to enter the region. Just behind us, we find the Portalet and the back of the houses, which was used as a wall to protect the town.
